Pixels to Paper Editing Class
Photography is Not Looking, it’s Feeling
A photo may look great on Facebook or Instagram, but the real test of an image is “will it print and hang?”

With the help of software and some learned skills, a relatively good image can be enhanced and printed to look beautiful.
What I want to teach you here is how I approach images that I capture, and that clients send to me to print, and how my skills and artistic eyes as both a photographer & a printer can give you much better results than any commercial labs.

I started out sending my images to various labs, and none of them met my standards. So, I started on a journey to becoming a great printer, and after 2 years of practice and research, and investing in the best equipment, I feel like I have a good understanding of the art of printing.

I can do classes in person, but doing them via Zoom meetings is best, from the comfort of your own workspace, on your computer, and also viewing mine. I have an entire curriculum in PowerPoint as a slide show that we follow, which I originally wrote and presented at the request of the Olympic Peaks Camera Club here in Sequim WA.
One-On-One At Your Pace

I do these classes one-on-one remotely over zoom, only at the pace you are learning, at $75.00/hr. I would plan on about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to allow us to have time for editing together. Also, I am assuming you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription ($9.99/mo) and have Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop downloaded and installed. Both are included in that subscription. I can show you my whole workflow from importing to the finished product, and how to post correctly to social media too! I guarantee you will improve the quality of your images dramatically, and easily, and will understand image sizing & color spaces, and be able to get prints made that look their best! Call me with any questions at 509-679-6185. If you are not shooting in full manual mode on your camera, and do not have a complete understanding of photography, I highly recommend you take my photography class first, but not required. You should be shooting in RAW in Manual Mode, and not JPEG!
In person or over Zoom. I guarantee you will improve the quality of your images dramatically, and easily, and will understand image sizing & color spaces, and be able to get prints made that look their best!
